Halla Farhat is a freelance designer and stylist born in Kuwait and raised in Lebanon and Canada. She graduated with a B.A honors from Westminster at IEDBarcelona and is currently based in Berlin. Her handcrafted unique pieces are a manifestation of her rich cultural background, contrasting tradition and contemporary influences as well as having a tribal edge with a futuristic approach. Her styling work is a reflection of such and an exploration of youth, extra terrestrials, toys, dreams and various subcultures.
Her work has been published in Vogue, i-D, the Fader, Fucking Young, Chasseur ,Dianne Pernet ASVOF, Kaltblut, Pansy Mag ,Highsnobiety and Flanelle.. She has collaborated with artists such as Tommy Ca$h, Ellen Allien, and Seth Troxler.
